Wade’s Restaurant Expands with First Wade’s Jr. Concept on Reidville Road

Wade’s Restaurant, a James Beard Award-winning Southern dining institution in Spartanburg, is excited to announce a new concept — Wade’s Jr. — scheduled to open on Reidville Road in early 2026. This new concept brings the same beloved homemade Southern cooking to guests in a faster, more convenient format designed for today’s busy lifestyles.

Key Highlights of Wade’s Jr.: 

  • Meat & Three Made Easy: Wade’s Jr. will offer a streamlined menu of Wade’s most popular menu items, served through counter service and a curbside pickup lane for online orders.
  • Convenient Location: Positioned on Reidville Road on the west side of Spartanburg, heading toward the growing Duncan/Moore area. This location allows Wade’s Jr. to tap into a new area of Spartanburg, providing convenient access for busy families, professionals, and anyone craving quality Southern cooking without making the drive to our flagship location.
  • Signature Yeast Rolls Remain a Staple: Wade’s famous hand-mixed, homemade yeast rolls, freshly baked in-store, will continue to be a highlight of the dining experience.
  • Modern Brand Evolution: Guests will recognize familiar Wade’s branding, now refreshed with updated veggie characters and a new logo inspired by the iconic yeast roll.
  • Award-Winning Heritage: Wade’s Jr. is an extension of the same team behind Wade’s Restaurant, known for its commitment to quality, service, and community for 78 years.

Wade’s Restaurant will continue to operate as usual from its flagship location, maintaining the full dine-in and ToGo experience guests have enjoyed for years while Wade’s Jr. provides a convenient, ToGo-focused option.
