Spartanburg County is pleased to announce the launch of the newly revamped SpartanburgPenny.org, a public-facing website designed to keep residents informed about the progress, impact, and success stories of projects funded through the Capital Penny Sales Tax referendums.
The site serves as a comprehensive resource showcasing the accomplishments from both the 2017 Capital Penny referendum, which includes transformative projects such as the upcoming Joint Government Center, and the 2021 Capital Penny referendum, dedicated to countywide road improvements.
Through SpartanburgPenny.org, the public can:
-
Track project timelines and progress
-
Access updates, photos, and success stories
-
Learn how the Penny is shaping infrastructure, facilities, and transportation across Spartanburg County
-
See how voter-supported initiatives continue to strengthen and modernize the community
The goal of the new site is to ensure transparency, celebrate progress, and make it easier for residents to stay connected to the improvements funded by the Penny they approved.
Spartanburg County invites the public to explore the site and use it as an up-to-date reference for ongoing and upcoming projects.
