Launch Something Announces Lift Off: A Private Membership Community for Women Entrepreneurs
Tuesday, December 30, 2025 9:00 am
Launch Something, a Spartanburg-based strategic marketing firm, today announced the launch of Lift Off, a private online membership community for women entrepreneurs transitioning from corporate careers to building their own businesses.
After 20 years of building brands for clients — including Denny's franchise networks, Power Up Spartanburg, and regional nonprofits — Launch Something is applying its proven community-building expertise to create Lift Off, a home for women leading today's businesses. Lift Off represents the agency's first direct-to-consumer product.
"From connecting global franchisees and teams at Denny's to helping local businesses develop customer followings to launching 'The Power Grid' for Power Up Spartanburg this fall, we've seen the proof over and over again: The brands that truly endure are the ones that facilitate meaningful connection," said Sims Bouwmeester, Owner and Founder of Launch Something and Host of Lift Off. "It's a strategy we believe in so deeply that we are officially adopting it for ourselves in the form of Lift Off."
An Online Space Designed for Women Building What's Next
Lift Off addresses a critical challenge facing women in business: as they rise and succeed, their network of support often diminishes. The community offers expert guidance, practical learning, and genuine connections focused on business essentials — including brand, marketing, pricing, sales, leadership, and growth — while integrating smart tools and AI to make work smoother and more strategic.
"As women rise in business, our supportive circle often shrinks. We gain success, but we lose the collective. We end up the decision-maker, standing alone," Bouwmeester explained. She calls this the "Isolation Tax" — the hidden cost women pay when they succeed but lose their support system in the process. "That isolation is why we built Lift Off."
What sets Lift Off apart is what happens between the lessons: women exchanging ideas, testing strategies, and celebrating milestones together. It's a space where progress feels purposeful, success feels personal, and every woman is reminded she's not building alone.
Built on Proven Community Platform Technology
Lift Off is powered by Mighty Networks, a platform designed for creators, coaches, and brands to build online communities. The framework combines courses, memberships, live events, and group discussions in one ad-free, private space, offering an alternative to traditional social media while giving hosts control over content and engagement.
Bouwmeester, a 2025 Mighty Certified Expert, has designed Lift Off as the culmination of everything Launch Something has learned about community design through years of client work.
Membership Now Open
Lift Off is now open for membership at launchwithliftoff.com. Women entrepreneurs can start with the 2026 Planning Challenge ($29), a 5-day guided framework for building their annual business plan, or join the full community with Core membership ($79/month) or Guided membership ($549/month) for hands-on implementation support.
As Launch Something continues to serve clients with high-level strategy and design, Lift Off represents the agency practicing what it preaches — putting community at the center of growth and success.
