In addition to the celebrity field, the Tournament will feature standout professional and amateur participants with strong ties to the Upstate.

Greenville's own Daniel Azallion has received a professional sponsor exemption into the field. From the Thornblade Junior Program, Azallion returns to his home town for a special opportunity to compete in front of family, friends, and the local community. Currently holding conditional status on The Korn Ferry Tour, Azallion continues to pursue his professional golf career while representing the Upstate on a larger stage.

William Jennings, another Greenville native and member of the University of Alabama men’s golf team has received a sponsor exemption to play as an amateur in the professional field. Jennings was recently named to the Ben Hogan Award Watch List, recognizing the nation’s top amateur and collegiate golfers, as well as the Jack Nicklaus Award Watch List, recognizing the National College Player of the Year. Monday night Jennings finished runner up at the 2026 NCAA Men's Golf Championships. With his final round of stroke-play at 13-under-par 275, he matched former Crimson Tide golfer Jerry Pate (1975) for the best finish in program history at the NCAA Championships.

We are proud to announce that the 2025 Blade Jr. Golf Classic champion, Will Ruth, has earned a special amateur sponsor exemption to the Tournament. This is an exciting opportunity for him to compete on an even bigger stage. He has also captured three South Carolina 5A individual state high school golf championships, earned 13 overall high school victories, and currently participates in the USGA National Development Program for South Carolina.

Celebrity and amateur participants will rotate between Thornblade Club in Greer and The Country Club of Spartanburg in Spartanburg, with each competitor playing one full round at both venues. At the conclusion of Friday’s play, a cut will be made for amateurs, celebrities, and Korn Ferry Tour professionals alike.

The trophy presentation for the amateur and celebrity tournament champions will take place Saturday evening. The tournament wraps up Sunday, June 7, with the final round of Korn Ferry Tour competition determining the 2026 BMW Charity Pro-Am presented by TD SYNNEX champion.
