Designed to provide information and experiences to those wishing to become well-informed members of the community, this program is ideal for newcomers to Spartanburg, and for people who live or work in Spartanburg but wish to become better engaged.
Membership 101
A program for new OneSpartanburg, Inc. members to learn about the benefits, services, and resources that are a part of your membership.
Leadership Spartanburg
A nine-month course designed to better prepare leaders and volunteers for community service through exploration of issues, challenges and opportunities facing Spartanburg County now and in the future.
Junior Leadership Spartanburg
A nine-month program to give Spartanburg County high school juniors the opportunity to have learning experiences outside of the classroom while learning beneficial leadership skills.
Leadership Spartanburg Alumni Association
A group of highly-motivated community leaders, all of whom have graduated from Leadership Spartanburg.
Spartanburg Young Professionals
SYP engages young professionals in the Spartanburg community by providing its members with social, leadership and civic opportunities. SYP hosts professional development opportunities, networking events and signature annual events.
Political Leadership Institute
OneSpartanburg, Inc.’s Political Leadership Institute is designed to provide local citizens the opportunity to gain a working knowledge of the local political process, and running for elected office. The four-session training is perfect for anyone interested in running for public office and elected officials looking to sharpen skills.
